Sacred Scripts: Taoist Magic
Updated: Apr 13, 2020
When a Taoist Magus imbues his calligraphy with his Qi, it becomes a sacred script, a talisman that can calm the mind, and protects against evil spirits.
During the festival of the August Moon, in ancient China, the devotees would often flock and converge at their spiritual home, the Taoist sanctuary located high up the misty mountain. After a three days arduous climb of thousands of steps, they would beseech the Taoist priest there to draw a sacred script, a talisman, to bring it home to protect them from misfortune and sickness.
